RightsizeYour Senior Care Guide

Serving the Salt Lake Valley

You don't have to figure out care for your parent alone.

Rightsize is a free local guide for families facing senior care decisions. One conversation, one person who knows the whole picture, and honest introductions to professionals we'd send our own family to.

Free to families

You are never invoiced for guidance. Not for the first call, not for the tenth.

One point of contact

One person who knows your whole situation, instead of nine numbers to call.

Local & personal

Cory lives in West Jordan and meets families in person across the valley.

What we actually do

Most families come to us somewhere between confused and overwhelmed. There's a parent who can't quite manage at home, a hospital asking for a discharge plan, a house full of forty years of belongings, and nine different companies who all want to sell you something.

We sit down with you, understand the whole picture — health, money, family, timing — and then translate it into a plan you can actually act on. When you need a professional, we introduce you to someone we've personally vetted.

We are not a placement service and we don't sell care. We're the person in your corner who already knows how this works.

How it works

Three steps. No forms to fill out before someone talks to you.

  1. 1

    We talk

A phone call or a visit at your kitchen table. You tell us what's going on. We mostly listen.

  2. 2

    We make sense of it

A discovery consultation covering care needs, budget, timing, benefits and what your parent actually wants.

  3. 3

    We connect you

Introductions to two or three vetted professionals who fit — and we stay reachable the whole way through.

How we can help

Whatever corner of this you're standing in, there's a place to start.

The moment families find us

A fall. An ambulance. Three days in the hospital, two weeks in rehab, and then someone says the words: she can't go back home. If that's where you are right now, start here.

Why Rightsize

We're free, and we'll tell you why

Cory earns his living as a licensed Utah real estate broker and through reciprocal relationships with other professionals. Families are never billed. You'll always know where we stand.

We've walked the buildings

Every community and company we recommend has been visited, called, or worked with directly. Not pulled from a national directory.

We say no when it's not a fit

If in-home care beats assisted living for your family, we'll say so. If a reverse mortgage is a bad idea, we'll say that too.

We answer the phone

Not a call center. Not a form that gets sold to six vendors. One local person who picks up.

From families we've helped

  • My dad fell on a Tuesday and by Friday we had to decide where he was going. Cory sat at our kitchen table, listened for an hour, and then gave us three real options. He never once pushed us.

    Denise R.

    Daughter, West Jordan

  • I called expecting a sales pitch. Instead I got a person who answered questions I didn't even know to ask, and he never charged us a dime.

    Marcus T.

    Son, Sandy

  • We needed movers, an estate sale, and eventually to sell mom's house. Cory lined all of it up and kept the whole thing from falling on my shoulders alone.

    Daughter, Murray
